Alex was my young brother he had a lot of problems in life but was sorting himself out and i was
very proud of him he was funny, always playing practical jokes on everyone, he had lots of good
friends. When Alex was a wee boy we as a family used to call him wee James Cagney as he always
stood with his arms folded and his legs apart with a scowl on his face like the actor did in so many
of his films, he was cheeky always up to no good but very funny. The week before he died he was out
running in training for a charity run in aid of the Yorkhill foundation for sick childeren in
Glasgow when he collapsed but because it was our mums anniversay on the following date he signed
himself out of hospital to be able to attend her grave and one week later he had died himself, he
never got over us losing our mum to a sudden heart attack 8 years ago.
I loved my brother very much and i am going to miss him terribly.
Alex so sorry i have not been on and left a message for you to see, but i have been totally unwell since you left us and i just cant get over it, but you would not want me to be like this so i have sought help and am now on my way to feeling a bit better. i miss you so much, our chats and seeing you wish i could speak to you one more time. I know you knew how much i love you but to say it to you again would be brilliant dont worry about dad he is okay and the kids are fine too still got my mad cats and working hard - I love and miss you every day, until we meet again - hope you are looking after mum up there in heaven your big sis Lorraine
